?This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with Honda engines. This carburetor gasket provides an air tight seal between the carburetor and the insulator. Over time gaskets tend to deteriorate and would need to be replaced. It is made out of compound material and it is sold individually. You would need a screwdriver to replace this item.

Broken spark plug boot and gummed carb

4. Remove air filter.
5. Remove fuel line from carb using needle nose pliers.
6. Remove front two nuts from plastic cover.
7. Remove bolt on rear of plastic cover.

4. Motor started up fine and idle like it should.
The new blend of gas is really hard on small engine because of deposit from the gasoline. In my case the large pump is only used once or twice a year and just set in the shop on a shelf. It \'s eight year old and looks new. Honda makes a very good motor, not a design problem, it a !!GAS!! problem.
