This is an authentic OEM sourced component which is specially made for use with Honda engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. The purpose of this filter is to ensure that the fuel that is supplied from the tank is free of dust and other harmful contaminants. Over time it may wear out, get damaged or simply lost eventually requiring a replacement to maintain peak performance.
