This is an authentic replacement parts kit manufactured for use with Honda small engines. The gasket set is used to replace worn out gaskets in the carburetor. The kit includes the gaskets that seal the bowl and some of the valves. This kit is sold as an individual replacement part.

This v-twin cylinder honda engine is on a 15 year old 10k generator, it had sat for years with just a little gas in the float bowl and in the fuel shut off solenoid, it had turned to sludge and locked

I removed the air cleaner and associated plastic parts in order to expose the carburetor, removed the carburetor, then the float bowl and the solenoid. I replaced the o-rings that had gone bad, cleaned it up and put it back together.

Separate Fuel Bowl from Carburetor Body
Replace Float and Needle
Adjust Float Height

1. Remove engine from mower
2. Tear down engine
3. Store parts in a way that allows you to know how it goes
back together.
4. After disassembly coat exposed metal surfaces with oil to prevent rusting
5.Order parts
6. Tear down and clean the heads and valves while you have the engine apart
7. Reassembled engine making sure that everything is torqued appropriately

Find a local lawnmower shop and ask for advice if you have questions most of the time the owner will be willing to help

With patients all the torque specifications and other pertinent information can be found on the Internet.

Motor overheating

Parts Used:

Close fuel tank valve.
Disconnect battery.
Remove air filter assembly.
Open drain to float bowl and drain gas into a container.
Remove fuel lines to carburetor.
Remove throttle linkage .
Remove garburator.
Remove bowl from carburetor.
Clean bowl.
Clean jet and all passages.
Repla ce all gaskets .
Install bowl .
Install carburetor.
Connect all linkages and fuel lines.
Close float bowl drain.
Open fuel tank valve.
Reconnect battery.
Start motor and let run for 10 minutes to verify overheating issues was solved.
Install air filter assembly.
