Better than expected
I expected a conglomeration of small parts to fix my pressure washer when the recoil starter exploded into pieces. With the part being available as an assembly, way less expensive than I expected, and just a step up on shipping, I had this unit back on the job with my others in just a few days.

It was a very easy repair. Very thankful!
The Recoil Starter Assembly arrived ahead of expected. Tammy was great at finding this needed part for my oldie Husqvarna (oldie but goodie!) Mower, it was easy to install it and works great!

Perfect part- saved me hundreds of dollars!
Ordering was easy. shipping was fast and part was exactly what I needed. If this part wasn't here, I would've had to buy a new lawnmower. This part saved my family hundreds of dollars we needed to pay bills.

Easiest way to repair was to replace the cord and recoil assemby as a unit. Only three nuts hold the recoil starter assembly in place. Your parts consultant gave me a choice of three different units with prices starting at $11 and going to $33. We discussed the differences and he was very helpful in selecting the lowest priced unit as
... Read moreit did not appear to be any different from the top priced unit. I chose the lowest priced unit and it works just fine. He saved me about $20. He also suggested that if for any reason the assembly was not compatible with my Honda engine, that the unit was fully returnable and could be exchanged.
I simply unscrewed the old broken assembly and screwed in the replacement part which was an exact match. The foam grip I took the bolt off of one side of the upper handle and removed all attachments on that particular side and I used a little WD40 to lube handle to help the new grip slide into it\'s proper place, reattached everything.

Lawn mower starter would not catch and turn engine over
For this particular fix, I decided to replace the entire \"pull start setup,\" rather than just replacing the frayed rope. On the Toro Mower I own, this was a pretty easy fix.
Removed the recoil assembly and replaced. Same with the control cable and Drive wheels. All three where very simple. Only 3 nuts holding the recoil assembly down. Remove the nuts, pull the old assembly off and replace.

Pull start cord wasn\'t retracting properly. After failing to find any obvious cause I decided to replace the unit.
1. Removed starter assembly (3 nuts).
2. Dropped new starter assembly in position and replaced nuts.
3. Slowly pulled starter cord out to normal operating position and secured to mower handle with original hardware.
4. It worked.
Replaced the pull start assembly and installed new spark plug and air filter
Repair was straight forward. I would like to say the parts arrived earlier than expected, were packaged well and fit perfectly.
