Someone broke the original bolt stud that held the recoil starter assembly on, when they tried to remove it.
I removed the 2 remaining nuts from the 2 intact bolt studs, which allowed for the removal of the recoil starter assembly.
I used an adjustable wrench to remove the broken bolt stud and used the same wrench to install t he new one.
This allowed me to properly install the new recoil starter assembly.

These items were used for a very old, 22 ton log splitter. eReplacementParts provided an easy, secure way to get the right parts the first time. Make sure you can provide all the numbers on the side of the engine.

Items purchased are plug and play. 3 bolts to remove the starter assembly (Make sure you clean debris from the flywheel.). Petcock involves one #2 Philips head screwdriver and small needle head pliers for the spring, fuel hose clamps (Make sure you clamp the rubber fuel supply line with vice grips or empty the fuel tank first.).
