This starter rope is a genuine replacement part supplied by the manufacturer. It is compatible with over 150 machines including engines, generators, snowthrowers, and lawn mowers. This rope is attached to the starter pulley. When this rope is pulled, the starter pulley is rotated. This rotation starts the engine. The rope should be replaced if it is torn or cut. It is sold individually.
