Removed carb float bowl bolt from bottom of float bowl. Then push float pin to one side and grab with needle nose pliers, and pull out, keeping other hand under float to catch, with the needle. Take needle and place on new float, being careful not to drop, and line up hole on float and needle into the seat, and push pin back in place. t ... Read more his was the first time I did this repair and after looking at some parts diagrams, I got the basic idea of where parts went. it was kinda hard to get the needle into the seat, but I didn\'t want to take the carb off as I didn\'t want to mess with the springs.
