This is an authentic OEM part. The Toro air vane is designed for use with many lawn mower engines. This plastic item pulls the choke open when the flywheel fan sends airflow from the air vane. You will need a wrench and a screwdriver for the installation. The air vane is sold individually.

Hello Thomas, Thank you for the question. The Air Vane Spring Part Number: 790849 attaches to the carburetor between the pins on the choke arm. Make sure to tighten the shoulder bolt. Attach the spring to the new vane. Make sure that the choke thermostat arm is positioned in the air vane hook and in line with the markings in front and the side.
