Removed engine shroud and faulty coil wire harness. Installed new harness, test started engine and reinstalled engine shroud. Done

kill wire with diodes to coils was burnt in two.

had to remove flywheel cover to get at coils or mags. install new wire kit and luckily coils were not damaged. I had mistakingly hooked up my ignition hot wire to the terminal which on a briggs engine is only a ground terminal.
