Messed up carburetor

Disconnected and removed old carburetor and fuel lines and reconnected new carburetor with new fuel lines. Needed to remove the covers and the gas tank to expose the carburetor and the governor spring and it was pretty easy after that

Loss in engine power and sputtering

1. Removed the plastic engine housing
2. Removed air intake screen
3. Removed old carb and spacer
4. Cleaned surface of engine block
5. Remounted new spacer and gaskets
6. Installed new carb and air intake screen
7. Primed carb and started with immediately noticeable improvement in idle and engine perfo rmance
8. Got rid of bad gas that ruined two carbs: tractor and snow blower
