This part is an OEM from Briggs and Stratton for use with lawn and garden equipment engines. The choke link connects the choke thermostat lever to the carburetor choke plate lever to control airflow through the carburetor during engine start-up. The most common reason for replacing the choke link is if the engine will not run smoothly or will not start at all. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the choke link is a 5/16 inch socket or nut driver.
