This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement air filter base which is specially designed for use with Briggs and Stratton engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. It is the base that connects to the carburetor to secure the air filter element. It is a high-quality component which is made of durable black plastic and it is sold individually. Please note the cover and the filter element are both sold separately.
