This is a genuine Briggs and Stratton part for use with Lawn and Garden Equipment Engines. The air filter cleans the air entering the carburetor. Replace the air filter periodically. The most common reason for replacing the air filter is when it is clogged. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the filter is a flathead screwdriver.
