This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The piston pin is commonly used in Briggs & Stratton engines. This is a metal part and comes with two piston pin locks. It is used to connect the piston to the connecting rod and provide a bearing for the connecting rod to pivot upon as the piston moves. Please be aware that different piston pins are used in the engine. Refer to the parts diagram to be sure of ordering the correct item.
