We ran the lawnmower tank dry. Big mistake, because the carburetor sucked dirt from the tank bottom into the jets. Couldn\'t clean it out so had to replace carburetor

1. Remove air filter housing that is on top of the carburetor
2. Remove gas tank from mower, using socket set
3. Remove 5 screws that hold the carburetor on top of the gas tank
4. CAREFULLY peel the carburetor off the gas tank, note which way the existing gasket and rubber diaphragm face
5. Put the new screen and spring on the new carburetor, set the rubber diaphragm and then the gasket on top of the tank
6. CAREFULLY set the new carburetor on the gasket, make sure that all the screw holes line up and that none of the rubber diaphragm is hanging out from under the gasket. You\'ll understand this when you see the repair parts.
7. Put in the 5 screws, snug them down - do not go crazy tight, the carburetor is plastic and you don\'t want to crack it
8. Reassemble the rest of the parts and start the mower
9. Enjoy the smooth operation of the engine!
