This is an original part from Briggs & Stratton. The oil adapter gasket is constructed of cardboard composite, and is sold individually. The gasket is compatible with many small engines, providing protection from oil leakage. This item is also included with the engine gasket set (847319). You will need a wrench for the installation.

leaking oil gasket

The location of the oil filter requires the mounting plate be removed to allow space to remove filter.

I replace the oil and filter yearly and must have ripped the gasket while doing so.

It was a simple fix once I received the replacement part.
My Genrac/Sears generator is 20 plus years old, so I happy to find stock replacement parts
