This is an authentic component which is made for Briggs and Stratton engines that are commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. Remove pull start assy.
Remove gas tank/carbeurator.
Remove magneto.
Remove broken manifold.
Reverse procedure to put back together.
Adjust governor...........Good to go.
1. Removed old fuel tank from engine
2. Removed old intake manifold from engine.
3. Cleaned all surfaces
4. Put on new intake manifold
5. Put on new fuel tank
Removed the top cover and took apart the carb. Saw that the intake was broken in half.
Ordered new part and when it came installed it. The mower was back to running just fine.
During removal, I broke the manifold intake. Ordered part, fit perfectly and reassembled.
