This replacement solenoid-starter is an authentic OEM component. It is specially designed for Briggs and Stratton engines commonly installed on generators and some other lawn and garden equipment. The solenoid transfers the electrical current from the battery to the starter. Unfortunately, over time it may wear out and develop electrical or mechanical issues eventually requiring a replacement to ensure your equipment runs properly. Note, it is a high-quality item and is sold as an individual component. You will need a wrench set to disconnect and remove the old solenoid-starter when performing this repair.
