Product Description

This is an authentic OEM part. The plastic breather tube is made for use with many lawn tractors, and is sold individually. The Briggs & Stratton component is secured to the carburetor assembly, preventing gases from moving back into the tractor engine. A wrench and a screwdriver are helpful for the removal and replacement.

OK in the end.

There was some confusion in how the order was handled in regard to having an additional part shipped with no additional shipping cost. It turned out correct in the end but the invoices sent with credits and charges were very confusing. It was only once the credit card statement was received that I knew all was correct. So it is appreciated that my needs were well served but that confusion kept the rating from being five stars. Hopefully this will help them put everything line by line on a single invoice to avoid confusion.

breather tube was deteriorated and split.

This was part of the throttle cable and control bracket replacement. So the air cleaner was already off for that operation and it was just a matter of getting the rubber tube into the grooves on the breather housing and air cleaner base.
