This is an original part from Briggs and Stratton for use with lawn and garden equipment engines. The carburetor float controls fuel flow into the carburetor bowl by adjusting the needle valve. The most common reason for replacing the float is when the engine is leaking gas. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the carburetor a 1/4 inch socket or nut driver, 3/8th inch socket or nut driver, 7/16th inch socket, 5/16th inch wrench, and a Phillips-head screwdriver.
