This is an authentic OEM part for use with Craftsman Lawn Mowers. The engine breather vents air from the engine crankcase. The most common reason for replacing the breather is when the small engine runs poorly. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the breather a flat-head screwdriver, hammer, 7/16th-inch socket, 3/8th-inch socket or nut driver, Phillips-head screwdriver, 5/16th-inch socket or nut driver, 3/8th-inch socket or nut driver and pliers. Wait until the engine is cool to the touch before installing this part
