This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement starter-rewind assembly, it is specially designed for use with Briggs and Stratton engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. It allows a user to easily pull-start the unit. It is a complete assembly which includes the plastic housing, the starter pulley, the starter spring, the grip, the pull rope and the hardware to secure this assembly. Over time any of the components may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring replacement, this item provides an easy way to get your unit back up and running.
