This is a genuine Briggs & Stratton replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer for use with small engines. The ethanol in gasoline can break down the rubber gaskets and components inside the carburetor. Eventually, deterioration caused by the ethanol will require the carburetor to be rebuilt. This kit is available as an individual replacement part.
