1. Removed the fan shroud from the engine.
2. Drilled out the pop rivets from the OEM installation.
3. Reinstalled the fan shroud on the engine.
4. Placed the starter assembly on the fan shroud and centered by partially pulling the starting rope.
5. Attached the assembly to the fan shroud with pop rivets.

Welder starter pull rewind spring broke

Took off the old starter housing.
Install new complete unit of spring, rope and housing with 4 small bolts.
