This is a genuine Briggs and Stratton, Toro part for use with Engine, Lawn Tractors. The oil fill tube directs replacement oil into the engine. This part is sold individually. The most common reason for replacing the dipstick tube is if the tube is broken or does not connect well to the pan, or if the dipstick becomes damaged or lost. The tools that you will need to replace the oil fill tube is a screwdriver, nut driver and a socket wrench.

It would have been much easier had I cleaned the outside of the 15 yr. old mower engine before starting the repair. The engine had 1/4\" of dirt saturated with oil to clean off around the dipstick and top of engine. When I took the rubber seal out only the top half came out. Had to fish around with toothpick to find if the bottom half was still embedded inside the engine. Could not find it so I installed the new seal and tube. So far no leaking. Perfectly satisfied with the parts; they fit and went on easily.
