Padding Profit On Shipping Charges

The part I received was great. The price I was expected to pay for shipping was not ok. Part of the year I live in Puerto Rico. The part I ordered for a lawnmower weighed 1.6 ounces. The lady I talked to wanted to charge me $59 for shipping. When I asked why so high; the response was for the weight but also for the distance it had to travel. Puerto Rico is part of the United States and the price for mailing is exactly the same price as living in the states the distance has no bearing on receiving a package or for receiving regular mail. As a very much of a inconvenience; I had my ordered part sent to my sister; which in turn mailed it to me. Total shipping cost was $37. It should've only been the original $19 that was charged for shipping; when it was sent to my sister.
