This Flywheel Cup is an OEM direct from Briggs and Stratton for use with lawn and garden equipment engines. The recoil starter cup spins the flywheel to start the engine when you pull the starter rope. The most common reason for replacing the flywheel cup is when the recoil starter will not engage. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the flywheel cup are a 15/16 inch socket, 5/16 inch socket or nut driver, torque wrench and a mallet.
