1-Removed torx screws and took off plastic side cover.
2-Took a photo of the current wire connections (there are 8 if I remember correctly) just in case I got lost in the weeds part way through.
3-Removed the wires from the defective switch one at a time and connected them to the new switch. Incoming power cord wires need a v
... Read moreery small screwdriver (or similar object) to go into the hole next to each wire and depress the clip that holds them in place
4- Reinstalled the plastic side cover and screws - back in business.
Remove the screws from the handle and separate them
Make a wiring diagram
Disconnect the old switch wires
Connect the wires to the new switch
Make sure all of the parts are correctly placed
Screw the housings together
