Chuck retainer screw broke, with shank remaining inside the drill mainshaft.

1) Unscrewed the drill chuck. (with broken retainer screw, there\'s nothing to retain it)
2) Clamped drill body in bench vise, using scrap wood to protect body surface.
3) Drilled pilot hole in center of broken screw shank with center drill.
4) Drilled out center drilled hole to size needed for Easy-Out.
5) Inserte d Easy-Out into drilled hole in broken screw shank
6) Twisted out broken screw shank with Easy-Out.
7) Used compressed air to blow out chips, etc., from screw hole cavity.
8) Screwed drill chuck back onto drill snugly.
9) Newly bought screw inserted to tighten down on chuck - JOB DONE!
