Hello Anselmo, Thank you for your inquiry. On the re-designed spindle, the threaded section has been reinforced with more metal. Because of this change, there is no longer a threaded hole to accommodate a chuck screw. When installing this new spindle, simply thread the chuck on normally. Regular use will ensure a tight, secure fit without a screw present. Good luck with your repair.
