Product Description

?

This genuine DeWalt replacement part is made out of Plastic and is Sold Individually. Switches are commonly replaced parts in tools. A switch handles on/off and variable speed operations. They also have a role in electric breaking; they can momentarily reverse electrical polarity. Because switches use mechanical internals, they will degrade and wear out over time, eventually needing replacement.

Split the left and right sides of the drill, leaving all the internals attached to the left side.
The original trigger/switch was held in place by four spade terminals, no fasteners.
I swapped in the new trigger and reassembled the drill, gave it a quick verification test.
It operates normally again.
Job done.
