1. opened up unit looked for grey gear grindings in grease and located worn loose parts. Ordered parts. Philips screw driver to remove front of drill assembly. removed worn parts and contaminated grease. greased new parts,installed them, and put fresh multipurpose grease in gear box. reassembled and tested unit. worked great.
