This is genuine OEM replacement part used on Worx electric trimmers. The cover works together with the spool line assembly to allow line to feed out while trimming. This allows continuous trimming without having to stop often and replace broken string lines. With normal use, these covers can break or crack and will require a replacement. To remove the old cover, press in the tabs and the cover should pull right out. It is made out of plastic and it is sold individually.
