This is an authentic Tanaka replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with walk-behind edgers. The metal spring is used to link the control cable and the governor control lever. This item reduces the change of damaging the cable or lever when torsion is applied to pull the cable. This item is available as an individual replacement part, please note pliers may be needed to install the spring.
