This is an authentic Southland replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with augers. The ignition module fits onto the small block near the flywheel and is used to produce an electric charge as the magnet on the flywheel passes the module. This charge is sent to the spark plug to ignite the air/fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber. This item is sold as an individual replacement part.
