This is an authentic OEM supplied replacement part designed for gas powered lawn and garden equipment. Its purpose is to remove dust and other harmful contaminants form the air that goes into the engine. To replace this filter no special tools would be needed, simply remove the cover and replace the air cleaner element. Please note this high quality foam part is sold individually.
The edger was given to me as non operable. I got it running and wanted to make sure it was properly protected. Using Ereplacements allowed me to do just that. The parts were less expensive than Amazon and were the exact parts needed, down to the decals on the breather housing. Great stuff at great prices!
1. Remove two screws from air filter cover
2. Remove air filter cover to access filter
3. Remove and replace air filter
4. Replace cover to original position is secure with fasteners
