Was going to dump another 400.00 on new dryer but heard how my buddy fix his washer for 10.00 and 10 min and thought id give it a shot and looked up sysmtems on YouTube contacted Ereplacement parts and bought the fuse installed in less time to pull dryer out...works great!!

1. Made sure power cord unplugged.
2. Removed rear panel of dryer.
3. Located and removed the original thermal fuse.
4. Installed the new fuse.
5. Unplugged the two wires on original fuse and plugged them onto the new fuse.
6. Being very careful, reconnected power cord to test only.
7. Turned dry er on, worked perfectly.
8. Unplugged power, reinstalled rear cover.
9. Reconnected power, positioned dryer. Job Completed!

I had problems with the dryer not heating and thought it was the ignitor but after checking it I traced it back to the thermal fuse. Easy fix there, just remove a few screws and the back of the dryer, two wires with push on terminals and one screw for the thermal fuse, and reassemble. Thermal fuse is right in the open and easy to get at.

Tested thermal fuse for continuity and it was bad so ordered a new one replaced it and it worked

1. removed the back panel of the dryer
2.disconnected the dryer vent and pulled the dryer out far enough to change the fuse.
3. Replaced the back panel and the vent hose and moved the dryer back to its position against the wall.
4.turned it on and voila! Easy repair.

1. Unplugged the dryer power cord from the power source
2. Removed the lower front panel of the dryer
3. Located the thermal fuse and replaced it.
