This is an authentic Waring replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with drink mixers. The carbon brush is used to carry electricity from the switch to the rotating armature within the motor. The brush is pressed against the commutator bars as they spin and this causes the brushes to wear down over time. This brush is sold as an individual replacement part, please note two brushes are required.
