Product Description

?

This replacement armature is the center component of an electric motor which essentially converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. Due to constant contact with carbon brushes armature will eventually wear out and would need to be replaced. It is a high quality item that is sourced from original equipment manufacturer for use with Makita hammer driver-drills. This item includes an armature, fan, armature bearing and commutator end bearing. It is highly recommended to replace both carbon brushes when replacing an armature. To complete this repair you will need a set of basic tools like a screwdriver and pliers.

Simply remove all screws to take the housing apart, slip the gear assembly out of the way, remove the armature. That is the piece with the copper windings. It just pulls out. Replace carbon brushes on the back side, reassemble and power up.
