Removed the screws holding the outer shell , separated the two halves and unplugged the trigger from the motor, plugged in new trigger and put the two halves of the shell together and put back all the screws

Trigger wouldn\'t work all the time

Removed all Phillips head screws separated 1 half of the impact gun unplugged the old switch and installed new switch

Unscrew the casing pull the two leads and the communicator wires loose replace the trigger and put the screws back in the case.
