Used flat head screwdriver to remove plastic caps. Pulled out old brushes and replaced with new. Replaced plastic caps. Test. Works great.

The forward reverse lever was broken. I also replaced the brushes just for maintenance.

I removed the Impact Wrench body screws, separated the two halves, removed the change lever and installed the new one. Then just reversed the steps to put back together.
