Drill didn\'t run, even with a newly-recharged battery.

Dismantled the drill, soldered in a new switch, re-assembled. The hardest part was removing the chuck, required for dismantling. I removed the left-hand screw in the chuck, fastened a large hex wrench in the chuck, and hit it with a hammer. After many tries, the chuck came off. From there it was easy.
