This is an authentic manufacturer-supplied replacement yoke. It is specially designed for use with Makita drills. In conjunction with an armature, it is the central component of an electric motor. A yoke unit is usually damaged by overloading the power tool, or because of a bad armature. It is highly recommended to replace both carbon brushes when replacing this component. Note, this high-quality item is sold individually. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver. Make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams for your model for the correct replacement procedure.
