Difficulty Level:
Easy
Total Repair Time:
15 - 30 mins
Tools:
Screw drivers
Parts Used:
CB440, 125387-0
Open drill chuck,
Remove reverse thread screw,
Unscrewed chuck off spindle
Removed case screws ( 9 ea. ) one screw is under motor end cover plate
Separate case halves
Remove old clutch and replace with new clutch
Replace motor brushes ( wasn\'t really needed, but as cheap as they are, I wanted to replac e.
Reassemble unit.

REMEMBER: Drill chuck has a reverse thread screw in side. It is righty remove, lefty to tighten. It has thread lock on it. It will tough to start, but it will come loose. To remove chuck, open chuck , insert an Allen wrench in chuck and tighten jaws. Give the Allen wrench a good smack with hammer to loosen chuck off of drill. These threads are normal right hand threads. My hammer drill works like new.
