I removed the drill chuck and Morse taper then drove the spindle shaft out from the drill chuck . I got the new spindle and put it in the drill chuck and tapped it on a vise hard to seat it into the chuck. Installed the Morse taper in the drill press and tested it and it worked fine .
Drove wedge into hole in to the quill with a hammer and tapped until arbor and chuck dropped from spindle. Then installed the new arbor and chuck by tapping with a wood block and hammer upward.
