This is a Genuine Manufacturer Sourced replacement part used on certain Drill Presses. This Coil Spring Assembly is made out of metal and it includes the: Cap, Coil Spring and Spring Retainer Ring. This part plays an important role in the mechanism that allows to lift the Drill Bit up and down. By providing spring loaded tension this allows for the shaft to return to its original position.
Removed broken spring assembly.
