This handle is sold individually. A screwdriver, pliers, socket and wrench set are often required for the proper installation. Please refer to the specific manual for further repair instructions.

Spindle would not raise or lower on 1940 delta shaper

1. Removed the motor
2. Removed the wiring
3. Removed the top and spindle assembly
4. Dissembled the lift mechanism
5. Could not find tool to remove bearing retainer for worm gear shaft
and fabricated one. Wish one was available.
6. Used valve lapping compound to clean lift screw threads in casting due
to a broken acme thread on bottom
7. Cleaned all parts and lubed as needed and re assembled
8. Removed broken fence handle and replaced with new one
