?This is an authentic OEM sourced component which is specially made for use with Ridgid drain cleaning machines. The coupling allows a user to repair a damaged 3/8" cable. Please make sure to refer to the owner's manual and the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this hardware. Keep in mind this high-quality item is made of a durable metal and is sold individually. The repair end threads over the top of the existing cable. Note, the coupling can also be welded to the new cable.

I welded the replacement end with a TIG welder set at 100 amps. For some reason I had trouble starting and maintaining an Arc. Although I was happy with the results, next time I will try the repair with my stick welder.
