The door balance system on the right side was broken leaving only the left side operational.
I replaced one assembly side at a time, starting with the broken side.
The fixed plastic pulley system is held in place with only one screw. I removed that screw.
I installed the new replacement pulley system, and connected
... Read morethe rope to the spring at one end and the door on the other.
Finally, I installed the rope around the pulleys. This was a little bit like changing speeds on a multiple pulley power tool, like a drill press.
That completes one side installation. Follow the same procedure for the other side and you\'re done.
