This is the replacement tine row pivot for your dishwasher. It is made of gray plastic and is approximately 2 inches by 2 inches. The tine row pivot holds fold away tine rows in place. Some dishwasher models will have fold away tine rows, so you can easily accommodate larger items. The fold away tine pivot can be disconnected to fold down these tines. If the pivot is damaged or missing, the tines will not remain upright when they are returned to that position. Most dishwasher models will have two tine pivots per rack. However, this product is sold individually. It is an OEM part from the manufacturer.
